The Cutteslowe Park Miniature Railway is situated in the public Cutteslowe Park in the north of the City of Oxford just off the A40 Ring Road.

There are two tracks on our railway on which we run passenger carrying trains pulled by steam or diesel locomotives. The elevated track is built to cater for 3½" and 5" gauges and the ground level track is for 5" and 7¼" gauges. An aerial photo of the track can be seen here

The CPMR will be closed until Easter 2021. We hope to be able to reopen to the public if Government regulations permit us to.

Our timetable can be downloaded here or by clicking on the calendar button at the top. Trains run at frequent intervals throughout the afternoon, subject to availability and suitable weather conditions.

To check the railway is open on running days please call 07503 314131.

Tickets are £1.25 for adults, children under 2 free when accompanied by a fare paying adult. Tickets are obtained from the ticket office at the track and we prefer you to pay by debit/credit card.

Disabled Visitors

The Cutteslowe Park Miniature Railway welcomes those who are less agile or who have special needs; our access points are level and user friendly. We also have a special carriage, which was funded by the National Lottery. This carriage takes a wheelchair with one or two carers, who can sit either behind or in front of the wheelchair. 'Lottie', this carriage, is always available when the railway is open to the public.
